SACRED PATHS COMMUNITY HOSTS MUSIC FOR PEACE
Several area peace/spiritual/social justice organizations are joining together to create “Music For peace.” This event will take place on Saturday, January 29, from 7:30 – 10:00 PM at the Plumsteadville Grange, 5901 Easton Rd. (Route 611), Plumsteadville, PA. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
Participating organizations include: Sacred Paths Community (Plumsteadville) — an holistic ministry embracing the physical, emotional, and mental experiences of the spiritual journey (website); The Peace Center (Langhorne) — dedicated to furthering peace by understanding and managing conflict in our homes, schools, communities, nation and world (website); Khalsa Healing Arts Center — a center for personal and planetary transformation through the healing arts (website); The Peace Project of Montgomery County — promoting events for children and adults that foster respect and appreciation for diverse religions and cultures.
The musicians, members of the participating organizations, include: Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa — a world peace chant and flute meditations; Inchantations — a women’s vocal ensemble performing spirit-inspired chants and songs (website); Rhetta Morgan of Sacred Paths Community — spiritual songs (website); Ecoman (Richard McLaughlin) — environmentally friendly music with voice and guitar (website).
