October 17, 2010:  "My Soul Is Singing!" workshop facilitated by Rhetta Morgan

Sacred Paths Community, Plumsteadville, as part of its Fall Enrichment Series, will be presenting a workshop entitled “My Soul Is Singing!”  This is an invitation to sing without inhibition, to join others and revel in the sound of the heart and of the soul.  We will share our voices through song, chant, rhythm, and speech across a broad spectrum of expression — for the pure joy of sound.

The workshop will be facilitated by Rev. Rhetta Morgan.  Rhetta has more than 30 years of professional experience as a singer, vocal coach, and choir director.  She has toured internationally, produced recordings, and is known for her innovative vocal studio, Zenvoice, which combines vocal study and spiritual practice.  She has a wonderfully diverse musical background including a Conservatory education and a gospel music upbringing.

“My Soul Is Singing!” will take place at the Plumsteadville Grange, 5901 Easton Rd. (Route 611), Plumsteadville, on Sunday, October 17, at 12:00 Noon and will last for 2 hours.  The cost is $10, payable at the door.  Eat a light meal before the workshop.
